Course Description

Trend Cloud One™ – Endpoint & Workload Security Training for Certified Professionals is a three-day, instructor-led training course.
Participants will learn how to use Trend Cloud One – Endpoint & Workload Security for advanced hybrid cloud security on physical and virtual client computers and physical, virtual, and cloud-based servers.

This course details the deployment of agents and protection modules, policy configuration, and administration of the service.
As part of the course, participants will deploy agents on a variety of Windows® platforms.
Participants will also be introduced to the other services available in Trend Cloud One™ and to the capabilities of Trend Vision One™.
Participants will also learn how to migrate an on-premises installation of Trend Micro™ Deep Security™ Software to Trend Cloud One – Endpoint & Workload Security.

This course is taught by Trend Micro-certified trainers and incorporates a variety of hands-on lab exercises, allowing participants to put the lesson content into action.

Trend Cloud One™ – Endpoint & Workload Security Training for Certified Professionals ist ein dreitägiger, von einem Trainer geleiteter Schulungskurs.
Die Teilnehmer lernen, wie Trend Cloud One – Endpoint & Workload Security für erweiterte Hybrid-Cloud-Sicherheit auf physischen und virtuellen Client-Computern sowie physischen, virtuellen und Cloud-basierten Servern eingesetzt wird.

In diesem Kurs werden die Bereitstellung von Agenten und Schutzmodulen, die Richtlinienkonfiguration und die Verwaltung des Dienstes ausführlich behandelt.
Im Rahmen des Kurses werden die Teilnehmer Agenten auf einer Vielzahl von Windows®-Plattformen einsetzen.
Die Teilnehmer werden auch mit den anderen in Trend Cloud One™ verfügbaren Diensten und den Möglichkeiten von Trend Vision One™ vertraut gemacht.
Die Teilnehmer lernen auch, wie sie eine Vor-Ort-Installation der Trend Micro™ Deep Security™ Software auf Trend Cloud One – Endpoint & Workload Security migrieren.

Dieser Kurs wird von Trend Micro zertifizierten Trainern unterrichtet und beinhaltet eine Vielzahl praktischer Übungen, die es den Teilnehmern ermöglichen, die Lerninhalte in die Praxis umzusetzen.

Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites to attend this course, however, a working knowledge of Trend Micro platforms and solutions, as well as an understanding of basic  networking concepts and principles, will be helpful.

Basic knowledge of the following topics is also beneficial:

• Windows servers and clients
• Firewalls and packet inspection devices
• VMware® ESXi/vCenter/NSX
• Amazon Web Services (AWS)/Microsoft® Azure®/VMware vCloud®/Google Cloud Platform™ (GCP)
• Virtualization technologies

Participants are required to bring a laptop with a recommended screen resolution of at least 1980 x 1080 or above and a display size of 15” or above.
A second screen is advantageous for labs i.e. lab guide on one screen and virtual environment on the other.

Voraussetzungen

Für die Teilnahme an diesem Kurs sind keine Voraussetzungen erforderlich, jedoch sind Kenntnisse über Trend Micro-Plattformen und -Lösungen sowie ein  Verständnis der grundlegenden Netzwerkkonzepte und Prinzipien hilfreich.

Grundlegende Kenntnisse zu den folgenden Themen sind ebenfalls von Vorteil:

• Windows® Server and Clients
• Firewalls
• VMware® ESXi/vCenter/NSX
• Amazon Web Services (AWS)/Microsoft® Azure®/VMware vCloud®/Google Cloud Platform™ (GCP)
• Virtualisierungstechnologien

Die Teilnehmer benötigen einen eigenen Laptop mit einer empfohlenen Bildschirmauflösung von mindestens 1980 x 1080 oder höher und einer Bildschirmgröße von 15″ oder höher.
Ein zweiter Bildschirm ist für die Übungen von Vorteil, d.h. Laboranleitung auf einem Bildschirm und virtuelle Umgebung auf dem anderen.
